Our Story

30 years ago a young man with big dreams left Hong Kong for London with hopes of making a living that would provide for his family.

With nothing but a backpack and some borrowed cash, he found himself in Chinatown, excited by the hustle and bustle of this colourful corner of London. It reminded him of home, and he wanted to be a part of it.

Starting as a waiter he worked his way up, with an appetite for success and a willingness to do any job, no matter how menial, he found an opportunity in the 90s to become a young restaurant owner.

Chinatown has changed and evolved in so many ways over the last 3 decades and for the first time, these uncertain times are calling for us to adapt and embrace quickly in order to survive.

The ethics of the restaurant are stronger than ever and our integrity means more to us now than ever before. We won’t let this beat us, and neither should you, let’s get through this together.
